Are you looking to make healthier snack choices?
I’m so bad about grabbing whatever is available to snack on – especially while reading; chips, salsa, those dark chocolate PB cubs from Trader Joe’s…. anything that’s grab and go. So, I’ve substituted some of my unhealthier picks for something that leaves me pleasantly full and satisfies my snacking tendencies.
Roasted Chickpeas!
They’re so easy to make! You can add lots of different spices to help satisfy any craving you currently have. But, one of my recent favorites are these Roasted Chili Chickpeas using the Better Call Salt spice from The Book Club Cook Book!
Here are the ingredients:
1 (15oz) can of chickpeas
1.5 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 tsp of Better Call Salt from BookClubCookBook
1 tsp of chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Here’s how to make them:
1. Preheat your oven to 400
2. Line a parchment sheet with parchment paper
3. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl
4. Mix everything together
5. Toss onto the parchment paper
6. Cook for 45 minutes, rotating every 15 minutes
7. Let cool for 10 minutes
8. Enjoy!
