It’s not too often that I discover a debut author who possesses a talent to depict family relationships so accurately but Lange did just that. As I read about the Brennan’s and their flaws, I began to see them as my own flawed family – I wanted the best for them, I needed them to succeed and recover. I rooted for them from start to finish and I hope you will, too.
One of my FAVORITE aspects of this book is the creative way that Lange transition her chapters – it was flawless. Sometimes I feel that the transition between viewpoints of characters can be confusing and then I ended falling out of step with the story but that was not the case with We Are the Brennan’s. If you’d read this book, I’d love to know your thoughts on the chapter transitions.
🤩 Family sagas are one of my favorite books to read.

💔 That ending.
By the end of the book, I felt like the Brennan’s were a part of my family and I, honestly, didn’t want their story to end. If you enjoyed Mrs. Everything, The Dutch House, The Most Fun We Ever Had, or the tv show Blue Bloods, I would suggest checking this one out for yourself!
