Don’t Look for Me

Thank you to St. Martin’s Press for gifting me a copy of DON’T LOOK FOR ME by Wendy Walker.

“One night, Molly Clarke walked away from her life.

She doesn’t want to be found.

Or at least, that’s the story.

The car abandoned miles from home.

The note found at a nearby hotel.

The shattered family that couldn’t be put back together.

They called it a “walk away.”

It happens all the time.

Women disappear, desperate to leave their lives behind and start over.

But is that what really happened to Molly Clarke?”

If you’re looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, then this is the one for you! I was thoroughly intrigued by this book and kept trying to figure out who had Molly Clarke and what the backstory was regarding her disappearance. The ending was, honestly, not at all what I had anticipated, so props to Wendy Walker for writing a thriller that truly surprised me.

The only aspect of this book that I struggled with is that Molly’s character did everything wrong. Every decision she made, I just wanted to scream “come on! Do not even think about doing what you’re doing.” From her decision to get into a strangers car (do not, I repeat, do not get into a strangers car – even if it’s during a hurricane) to her trusting the other person locked inside the house; it was all just wrong.

Overall, this was a quick read that kept me guessing until the end. If you’re looking for a thriller/suspense to add to your reading list this fall then this is the book for you!

DON’T LOOK FOR ME will be published on September 15, 2020, and is available to pre-order now!
